Golden Island Completes Methanol Bunkering Operation as an MPA-licensed Methanol Bunker Supplier

Golden Island is proud to announce the successful completion of our first methanol bunkering operation conducted at an anchorage in the Port of Singapore. This also marks Singapore’s first methanol bunkering operation following the Maritime and Port of Singapore’s (MPA) award of methanol bunkering licenses effective 1 January 2026.

Our IMO Type 2 tanker M.T. GOLDEN ANTARES supplied 300 metric tonnes of methanol to M.V. BRAVE PIONEER, owned by Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and chartered by Cargill, ahead of her maiden voyage to Europe.

Highlights
