On 20 January 2026, Golden Island is proud to announce the successful completion of our first methanol bunkering operation conducted at an anchorage in the Port of Singapore. This also marks Singapore’s first methanol bunkering operation following the Maritime and Port of Singapore’s (MPA) award of methanol bunkering licenses effective 1 January 2026.

This initiative reflects our commitment to reducing carbon emissions from marine transportation. We shall remain flexible and creative in developing low-carbon solutions to meet our customers' goals.
